Should we be bailing out private companies like AIG and Freddie Mac?
The market is down another 450 points today. Is it really our responsibility to bail out private companies like AIG in the tune of 85 BILLION dollars? What is causing all of this? The Real Culprits in this Meltdown is the title of a very interesting article I read in the Investors Business Daily. It is a short article but worth reading. Will raising taxes on the rich really fix all of this? Then again who is rich? What is that magic number? Is it a yearly income of 45K, 100K, 250K, who decides? This sounds like a movie I once saw called Robin Hood. Lets take from the wealthy and give even more to those less fortunate until everyone is equal. Then again I think that was a term I heard in 9th grade history called, socialism.

Grass Roots Websites Popping Up

Taking a breather today from the latest buzz to take note of the small grass roots efforts being made to support McCain-Palin. Check out this latest website....started by two "hockey moms" and I must say, with a super effort! They were recently featured on an ABC News website article, here.
If we can all do something to support our candidates in a very big or even in a very small way, our voices will be heard and our causes will not be forgotten come November 4th.
Start a blog, send emails, or volunteer time at your local campaign office... it all helps.
With less than 50 days to go...it's time to ramp up the "fight" in all of us....soldiers, hockey moms, Dads, career women, college students, senior citizens. Isn't our nation and the values we stand upon worth it?

A Soldier Speaks Up For McCain
This video is a must see. I have a son in the military who just graduated from boot camp just last week. I highly recommend that if anyone of you have not attended a military graduation, please take the time and go. I was sitting there in the crowd of over thousand people and realized what a touching experience. It was not just because my son was graduating, it was the fact that this very day eleven hundred fine young men and women were putting their country first to protect us from harms way. (I was told by a commander that one of these classes graduates every week!) My hat is off to you and I thank you for doing this! Then it hit me! Can you image Obama being elected president? He has no idea! I was literally afraid for these young people. What harms way would they be put in unnecessarily. Then I heard in the back ground the soldiers creed:
I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I serve the people of the United States, and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills.
I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy, the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.
Wait! Please read that again. I will never accept defeat! I will never quit! I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life! Obama wanted us to leave Iraq..accept defeat and QUIT! Is this the man you want for your Commander and Chief? Please, Please think and pray about this before you vote. Next time you see a person in uniform say,
THANKS.
Sincerely,
Paul

Obama! You are running for President..what a comic!
AMAZING. I got this off the Fox News website. On Tuesday, for the third time in four days, Obama borrowed a lengthy bubble quote from Washington Post cartoonist Tom Toles. He did not acknowledge the origin of the quote the first time he used it and credited the cartoon only after the Post contacted the Obama campaign to ask about the first use.“John McCain says he’s about change, too. And so, I guess his whole angle is, ‘Watch out, George Bush. Except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics … we’re really gonna shake things up in Washington,’” Obama said during a rally Tuesday in Lebanon, Va.
As it turns out, Toles’ cartoon in The Washington Post last Friday depicted McCain addressing the White House with the caption: “Watch out, Mr. Bush! With the exception of economic policy and energy policy and social issues and tax policy and foreign policy and Supreme Court appointments and Rove-style politics, we’re coming in there to shake things up!”
Here is a man running for President of the United States getting his dialogs from the comics! Ok, picture this...Obama is sitting down with Ahmadinejad and he is at a loss for words..."hold on sir I need to pull out my funnies!" If this qualifies one to be president ...maybe I should run.. after all I really liked Dick Tracy.
And today, on September 11th, it is worthy to mention the reason we need to vote in the right candidate for President. I hope you'll take some time to think about it. It shouldn't take that long.

Lipstick on a Pig ~ Today's Latest Attack
Wait here OBAMA! I grew up on a farm..you know that place where cows go mooo. (That place where we hold onto our guns and bibles) I never tried to put lipstick on a pig! If you would really listen to McCain and view his record you would see that he isn't the average politician. He actually makes a vote....not just PRESENT!

McCain Palin Rally Lancaster PA
We want you to register to vote!! This would be a great sub-title for this pic. taken today at the rally in Lancaster PA. Several months ago I was truly undecided about this election...not that I was going to vote for Obama..just very frustrated. Were any of you feeling that way?
Then came Sarah! I said WHO? This lady from Alaska..good looking too..I might add. The next few days I learned who Sarah really was. She is a MOM, a hunter, fisherwoman, a basketball player, and a governor. Wow...every man's dream as well as the ideal person for the women as well. But what about her qualifications for V.P.? She has worked her way up through the ranks, starting out with the P.T.A. just because she wanted change for her children at their school, right through to governor where she cut expenses by selling the governor's jet on ebay..to getting rid of property tax. She definitely has "HUTZPAH." With this experience she is more qualified then Obama! What do you think?
This is another great pic taken today in Lancaster. What a great speaker she is! She didn't have a teleprompter and she didn't even stutter. I hear some people saying what is a women with 5 kids doing running for V.P.? These are the same people who wanted Hillary to be elected. Moms out there, lets hear from YOU!!
Ok ladies I just had to get this pic for you. Talk about a man's man. Todd is an oil rigging guy who also likes to hunt and holds the record for cross country snowmobiling. He has been married to Sarah for 2o years. I would guess a real man doesn't need an intern to keep him happy. So far I am happy with what I have seen and heard. Let's put America first and get back to the conservative values this country was founded on!
